Hello, I'm André. I'm currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Institute of Computing (Unicamp). I also have a master's degree (Unicamp) and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Unesp), a post-graduation in Web Consulting (Fatec), and a Technical Course in Computer Programming (Etec).

From the professional perspective view, I've been working and "playing around" with different programming languages since I was 15 (13 years ago). Through this period I developed several Web Projects at GBD database research lab (8 years ago), took part in the development of a financial control system for companies at Nash Consultoria Empresarial (6 years), and, with a team, developed 30+ e-commerce platforms for mid-scale companies at Cammino (3 years). Now I'm focusing on building Semantic Web and Machine Learning solutions to assist Brazilian e-commerce customers on their purchase experience.

Round-table Discussion

The round table became a tradition in the last Computing Weeks at Unesp in Rio Preto. By inviting former students who are in the job market or who have followed an academic life, the round table generates interesting discussions for the public, most of whom are undergraduate students from the Computer Science Course at Unesp, since most of these students do not contemplate what to do after graduation.

I had the honor of being one of the guests at such an event in which, after participating as a listener, organizer, I had the honor of becoming a member of the discussion table.
